This Sunday I attended the DARC 10m contest on SSB as LC1R. This is a two-hour annual contest, and since the openings on 10m have been great lately, I decided to give it a go.
The first hour was great, I was able to call CQ and working a pile that seemed to keep giving indefinitely. Or so I thought.
One our later, after logging about 110 QSOs, it was like someone flipped a switch and the propagations changed dramatically. I was unable to hear a single German station, and I could only work stations farther south like Spain and Italy.
The end of the story is a shallow result with only 124 QSOs in total, but great fun while it lasted on the 10m band.
Thanks to everyone who checked in, catch you again next time, in January 2024!
