Radvis (“Radiation Visualizer”) is a simple simulation suite for designing and visualizing antenna radiation patterns in 3D. It also provides an feedback on the given antenna’s efficiency estimate, including SWR plots across any given band. The application is also equipped with a small set of pre-defined antennas for testing, allows multiple elements (both active and parasitic), automatically calculates feedpoint impedance, peak gain, and take-off angle, and much more.
The goal of this project is not supposed to be a substitute for highly sophisticated alternatives like EZNEC or MMANA-GAL, but to secretly act as a gateway drug by offering a simple, comprehensible user interface.
No heavy system requirements, and no installation needed. You need a Chromium-compatible web browser (like Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Safari) and to run this from your local PC simply grab the standalone file from the GitHub repo.
This is still under development, if you have feedback – positive or negative – then please let me know.
