CQWW SSB 2023 is over, and I assisted my club the best I could. We struggled with terrible conditions on Saturday, but did our best and worked 160-10m with four operators. I logged about 500 of the 2000+ QSOs we got. Fingers crossed for better conditions next year!

Unfortunately our Expert 1.5k-FA PA decided its transistors had enough midway, so we had to brush some dust off an old Ameritron PA instead. Sure, it’s a bit more manual labour than the fully automatic ones, but it’s a work horse and got us back up to 5-600 watts in no time. Running barefoot wasn’t an option with the conds we had.

The next big event for LN2T will be CQ WPX in March 2023.
